Harold Oatley Service Award
History and PurposeThe Harold Oatley Service Award recognizes a youth and an adult member who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the Lodge. This award replaced the Arrowman of the Year Award in 1989. It honors Harold Oatley who in his many years of service, provided a character model for youths and adults alike. Mr. Oatley served three Michigan Order of the Arrow Lodges in many capacities, including Chapter and Lodge adviser. RequirementsThe receipients (one youth, one adult) are determined by a vote of the Executive Board. Adults select a youth recepient and youth select an adult. |
